  THE MOST IMPERIAL OF THE IMPERIAL CITIES

Dive into the past, and visit the Medieval city of Fez. As a cross-road on the caravan routes, Fez became the cultural, intellectual and spiritual center of Morocco.
 
 

   Day 1: Tangier - Fez :

Assistance in the port and then begin your journey across the beautiful Rif Mountains to the Imperial city of Fez. On the way, stop to visit the Roman Ruins of Volubilis and the city of Meknes. Dinner and overnight in Fez.

   Day 2 : Full day sightseeing of Fez :

Visit of the two distinctly different areas of the city: Fez EL-Jadid (the new) and Fez EL-Bali (the old). Visit the University of Fez, the oldest center of learning in the Western world. Wander Morocco's largest souk, with its Jewish, Arab and Andalusian quarters. Experience the splendor of Fez's palaces, medersas and all that this World Heritage City has to offer.
Tonight, you may be suggested an optional folklore dinner at a typical Moroccan restaurant.

   Day 3 : Depart Fez for Tangier :

Enter Tangier along the Atlantic route giving you the opportunity to visit Hercules caves, Cap Spartel (the confluence of the Atlantic and Mediterranean) and stop for a camel ride. Drive through Tangier, the gateway to Africa and arrive at the port return trip.
